have a 1982 rabbit diesel. The injector pump is a Bosch ve. The pump that was on it was leaking so I GOT A PUMP FROM A MOTOR THAT WAS RUNNING before the pump and head was removed when I put it on (and hope that I am setting the time properly)it will crank up and idle for 10 or 15 seconds and then die it will crank back up with out any problem but it does the same thing. When I push the gas peddle it does not increase in rpm it just dies after a few seconds. Do I Have the timing off or is something else wrong?
