I have a '00 4900 DT466E with 156,000 miles. During the day, the WARN ENGINE light comes on and there is no throttle at all. The motor idles perfect. After about one minute, the light goes off and everything is normal...or you could turn it off and back on and everything works fine. what could cause this condition ?? Could it be bad oil pressure sensors ? or something else. I appreciate any thoughts. Thanks.

It could be a number of things on these engines. I do recomend to have the engine scaned or your just grasping straws. I have seen this problem at my shop on a number of occasion, oil pres. sensor will do this, also tps sensor , or wiring . Is this truck a garbage truck? Because that opeans a new can of worms, but do get it scaned , its worth the money,
